The second annual “Cowboy Classic” Customer Appreciation sale was held on Saturday, July 18^th, 2009 at 4-M Farms in Yale, Oklahoma. The sale was hosted by 4-M Farms, Bobbies Boers, Windy Hill Ranch, K&D Boers, Pro-Stock Boers, 4-Horn Farms and Broken S Ranch, the sale was conducted by Mueggenborg Auctioneers. A total of 21 consignors participated; this was a great group to work with, with an outstanding offering of animals. Those participating traveled to Yale from Tennessee, Colorado, Kansas, Texas and various locations in Oklahoma. Participants began arriving on Thursday and all animals were in place by Friday at noon. A sift was conducted on Friday afternoon by ABGA judge Joe Teel of Stillwater, Oklahoma to ensure that all animals being offered met breed standards. A trimming and fitting seminar was held by Randal Rochell of Duncan, Oklahoma on Friday evening. Special thanks to the Rochell family, Randal, Carol, Blake and Ryan for all their invaluable help in preparation and orchestration of these events, we appreciate each of you! The event on Saturday began with a complimentary BBQ lunch for all in attendance followed by the sale which began at 1:00 pm. A total of 94 animals made their way through the sale ring and headed for their new homes at the sales conclusion. We appreciate those that participated and provided such an outstanding set of animals and thank each and every one in attendance who took the time to be with us at this special event.
